About Katie Allen

Hi, I’m Katie Allen — a curious and dedicated multidisciplinary designer and photographer based in Rochester, NY.

My love for creativity started early, sketching on copy paper with a pencil, and has only grown since. That passion led me to pursue a BFA in Industrial Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I also earned a minor in Advertising and Public Relations. I graduated in Spring 2022, and have been exploring the intersection of design, storytelling, and visual communication ever since.

While design is my foundation, photography is my parallel passion. With my camera by my side, I love capturing the moments, big or small, that help us remember how things felt. Whether I’m designing, shooting, or dreaming up my next creative project, I’m driven by curiosity, emotion, and the joy of bringing ideas to life.

The arts have shaped who I am. Without them, I wouldn’t be me.
